The blog's title is pretty self-explanatory. I'd like to share some of my 20+ years of travel experiences and reflections upon them. My goal is for the content to be simple yet profound, short, sweet, and engaging.

One thing I don't profess to be is a world traveler; yes, I've been to a handful of countries in Europe and one in South America, but the vast majority of my travels have been of the 'more realistic' variety. I'm a firm believer that one doesn't have to go far to have meaningful experiences. While I'm a traveler to the core, I'm also a realist and a family-comes-first kind of guy. Life is a balance, and it's simply not feasible or desirable to be away constantly.

 

One thing I promise is to never stop exploring, whether 5,000 miles away or a block from home. I seek out the unheralded destinations as much as the tried-and-true. If you're cool with all that, please read on! It's great to have you along for the journey :)
